With the Jubilee Weekend fast approaching, communities up and down the country and preparing for their own celebrations. Of course, many are gearing up for the good-old British tradition of a street party.

Jubilee Chicken

Who doesn't love a good salad? You can plonk it down on the table and friends can just help themselves. Why not update Coronation chicken with this salad of mild spices, apple, walnuts, yoghurt sauce and pomegranate. Yum.

Not only do these little bites look a bit fancy, they are super easy to pull together and taste just like cheeseburgers. Great for adults and children alike!

Vegetarian? No problem. Serve these moreish vol au vents with a creamy watercress and pea filling, then top with radish or smoked trout for the fish-eaters, to feed a crowd.


Bang Bang Chicken Noodle Salad, via Ocado

The lean chicken fillets are boiled in stock for added flavour and to ensure a soft texture, perfect for shredding, and are then served with egg noodles, veggies, crunchy peanuts and a sweet and tongue-tingly sichuan peppercorn and peanut butter sauce.
